At the Center for Civic Values, we encourage public engagement with the law by providing accessible education and services, ensuring support for all students regardless of income, sexual orientation, background, location, or any other individual circumstances.
Since 1978, CCV has been the administrator and host of the Gene Franchini High School Mock Trial program. In 2022 CCV added a Middle School Mock Trial program. CCV was founded originally in 1962 as the New Mexico Bar Foundation and is organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable and educational corporation. Our offices are in Albuquerque, New Mexico; we have program activities throughout the state; and, our educational materials are used in classrooms and mock trial programs across the country.
100% of CCV’s board members have donated money to the organization.

- When you give, you help a student feel seen, heard, and empowered through civic education.
- Give more than a donation—give a young person the confidence to stand up, speak out, and shape the future.
- Imagine a student realizing for the first time that their voice matters. That’s what your donation makes possible.
