Lizdebeth Carrasco-Gallardo is a graduate of the South Valley Academy and the University of New Mexico. She is currently attending the University of New Mexico School of Law in Albuquerque, NM where she is a third year law student. Through her legal education, Lizdebeth has earned important skills that she will utilize in her role as an advocate once she has completed her studies. Before attending law school, Lizdebeth worked with the New Mexico Immigrant Law Center where she served as a DOJ Accredited Representative. As a law student, Lizdebeth has worked for Kennedy, Kennedy & Ives as a law clerk where she continues to clerk. Lizdebeth also received the Peggy Browning Fellowship and clerked for the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty in the summer of 2019.
Lizdebeth will be working at Law Offices of the Public Defender upon completion of her studies.
